Mobile App Development

Phone-first products for iOS and Android, connected to the backend, accounts, operations, payments, and release process behind the experience.

A mobile app should earn its place on the phone. The decision begins with the user and the repeated job, not with a belief that every digital product needs an App Store listing.

What we build

  • Consumer and member applications
  • Role-specific apps connected to one shared platform
  • Authentication, notifications, payments, scheduling, maps, and live data
  • The backend and administration surfaces required to operate the product
  • Store submission and release workflows

How the engagement works

We define the phone-first journey, backend responsibilities, platform constraints, privacy and permission requirements, release scope, store-account model, and operating costs. Working builds are tested on relevant devices during delivery rather than deferred to the end.

Store fees, maps, messaging, payment charges, media, model usage, and backend infrastructure can create variable costs. They are identified separately and monitored where x Create operates the product.

Why x Create

The mobile interface is only one surface. x Create can connect it to the product rules, backend, admin system, payments, data, notifications, and ongoing release responsibility that determine whether the app remains useful after launch.

Fair questions.

Not automatically. A responsive web product may be enough. A mobile app is justified when phone-first behaviour, notifications, device capabilities, app-store distribution, offline use, or frequent repeat use creates material value.

Cross-platform development can share substantial code while still respecting each platform. Native work may be justified for specialised device or performance requirements. We choose after defining the product.

Store requirements, operating-system changes, devices, providers, backend services, certificates, and user issues create continuing responsibility. The agreement states whether x Create manages that work or hands it over.

Account control, code, bespoke deliverables, data, reusable capability, credentials, and handover are stated in the engagement rather than assumed. Client business data and materials remain the client's.
